Hi there, I’m Romina - but you can call me Mimi.  I am an artist based in Adelaide, Australia.

I was born in Rome, Italy, where I studied the art of painting with different mediums, such as acrylics, oils, soft pastels and even powdered colours. Another part of my painting studies included life drawing, which is a passion of mine to this day. 

In 2008, I had my first experience with a group exhibition. It was at the St Angel’s Calste, in Rome. From this exhibition, my work was featured in a private collection in France. 

Fast forward a few years, back in 2011, I decided to move down under in pursuit of artistic and personal growth. The beginning was tough. I had to set my passion aside for some time to settle in. But now I am back at it! I look forward to enriching the lives of my fellow art lovers and collectors. 

I specialise in pets and figurative portraits and my chosen medium is acrylic paints. I love selling my art to clients directly so feel free to shop around my website or to get in touch! 

I believe that creating art is a road: A road that leads to a higher state of consciousness and ultimately, to happiness, within and without. My vision is that, through my paintings, I am able to capture the beauty and soul essence of subjects and share them with the world.

When I am not painting, I am pursuing one of my other passions as a veterinary nurse. I have a particular interest in animal dentistry.  Although sometimes painful, I am passionate about looking after animals. When practising, my aim is to provide owners and their pets with all the support and love they need.
